​Arena Animation organises various events and festivals to faciliate student-industry interactions, exhibitions of students works, seminars by industry experts, and hands-on workshops. These events give our students the opportunity to explore their creative talents, meet senior industry professionals, develop their skills, and gain an insight into career opportunities in the media and entertainment industry. Our students also participate and win prizes in national and international level competitions.

Creative Minds is an exclusive forum for students of Arena Animation students all over India. It gives them an opportunity to compete with peers, test their knowledge, apply their skills, be mentored by and gain insights from a jury of industry experts.
About Creative Minds
Creative Minds is Arena Animation’s flagship inter-centre student competition, where students produce and showcase some brilliant work. Students conceptualise and produce creative works and short films under the guidance & mentorship of their faculty. These films and projects are judged by industry experts, who then guide them & give them useful career tips.

Some of the competition categories under which students submit their works include cover design, comic page creation, mobile website design, character animation sequence, 3D product packshot, 3D asset model, VFX - rotoscopy, VFX - Matchmoving, 3D architectural visualization, and VFX compositing.

Animation Camp is a series of free workshops and demo classes held at Arena Animation centres to help you gain insights on the media and entertainment segment. You will also get hands-on experience on latest software, and discover new career opportunities in the industry.
National Student Meet (NSM) is an event exclusively crafted for Arena students where they can explore a mix of learning and fun filled engagement driven sessions throughout their stay in an exotic location, in a resort. The event offers an opportunity to the students to be part of fun and learning with seminars, hands on workshops, and interactive sessions with industry experts from top studios, along with a range of frolic engagement activities.
About National student MEET
The first ever National Student Meet exclusively crafted for Arena Students was held in Goa, in 2019. At the event, students participated in seminars on topics including Visual Effects in The Lion King, Hollywood VFX Showcase – Men In Black, and The Making Of Animated TV Commercials. The workshops included Character Design: Lights Off - Camera – Action, VFX Photography & Cinematography: Camera & Composition, Mobile Cinematography: Tips & Tricks, and Short Film Making: Smart-Phones, Shorts-Films. The event also includes various fun activities like treasure hunt, Zumba, and DJ night.
